characters?!

Insiders say that they are creating new characters for the park. Does anyone want to speculate about who and what the characters are going to be?

Hi Ms CHarlie.
I haven't heard any rumors of of yet. So it will be very interesting to see what they come up with.
I don;t think it will be any well known character as that would cost alot of money to use them.
Something cute I am sure. They sure are getting the families with small children into the park from the few times I have been there.
Also if I remember correctly ( think so anyway) that was a puppy you had gotten last year. Must be huge now.

I haven't been yet, but am planning on it real soon; but I watched one of the youtube videos for "Monstars of Rock" do you think they could make characters out of this ride? And actually my "Allie Bear" is about 3 years old now, but her baby pictures are so cute; I couldn't resist putting it there. The one I changed it too, was last year while waiting for my daughter to get off work at the park. She decided not to work there again this year (bummer for me)

Characters from the ride might not be a bad idea. However the only draw back to that would be the kids would actually have to go into the ride and like the characters that so far they have never seen. Alot of smaller kids can be afraid of the dark. They might not want to go in. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of more recognizable characters but that would cost money and I guess that is just not in the budget just now.

Just to let you know Skins (Frankenstein) has been sighted. I have also heard that there are supposted to be fairies too, which will be in the area of the swamp buggies (by the phone henge). They have a troll, fairie, and something else roaming around right now promoting the park. I know that eventually the monstars of rock ride will be updated with the special effects that dark ride riders expect. I just watched the video that someone put on youtube about the ride (when they first opened it) believe it or not within a month they have already added stuff since that video. The candles from NIWS are now back in the ride across from the opera house. Everytime you ride it, it seems they have added something new. I can't wait until next year, it is suppost to be really up to date.
