Sssshhhhh.... something is coming.... and its coming soon....
Thanks for your patience ya'll :) We do have something coming pretty soon and its pretty hot!
Keep an eye out we should be unveiling it soon! I'm surprised no one has caught the few t...
Not like dark night at all...this ride will have 4 rooms/scenes and be LIM powered (so that means there will be a launch(es). Once the entire theme is let out you would see why its a general 70-s theme because it pays tribute to a 70's iconic location
Even though i think it's a great idea to just have a general 70's theme, so far HRP has concentrated on theming more specific to a single subject in the attractions. Which makes sense, because the theming for each individual section is somewhat decade-defined and the attractions are more of a sub-theme of that decade. For example, the theming of British Invasion is primarily the 60's so a popular artist from the 60's like Moody Blues get their own themed attraction. Your idea has got me thinking more about my "Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars" idea. Were you thinking along the lines of a spinning wildmouse like Batman: The Dark Knight that just opened at Six Flags Great Adventure? As cool as the Six Flags Batman rides are, I think HRP could deliver something truly unique with a music themed indoor spinning wildmouse. I also envisioned the Ziggy Stardust ride as an interactive darkride that shares concepts from Universal's MIB Alien Attack. It would also be great to have a "fictional fantasy" themed attraction in outer space or what have you. Nights In White Satin is somewhat fantasy-like, but i guess you could say it does kind of represent what it is like to take LSD so i guess it has some realism to it. But i'm talking space mountain sized maybe bigger with plenty of drops and plenty of crazy alien animatronics to shoot at (all of which are spider-like in appearance) all while Moonage Daydream is playing and your score is racked up in attempt to beat the other passengers in your vehicle. Then, a finale with Ziggy Stardust shredding his space-age Gibson laser cannon guitar and destroying the Queen spider alien on a Giant screen.
That is a very cool idea. I actually see (from the picture) that it reminds me more of a Pleasure Island Adult afterhours night/dance club - which I could actually see HRP adding one eventually. Not inside the park but in the shopping area outside of the park.
As a dark ride though I could also see that working - I'm guessing a montage of 70s hits? How cool would it be if the que line was actually already in the cars?? More often then not people just get bored standing in long lines - what if the que line was already in the building as a part of the line and even if it was a 10 minute slow track ride before the rollar coaster - I don't think people would mind! They could just relax enjoy the pre-show around them and then as the que ends - the ride begins!
I been looking at the pic more and wonder how it would work as a indoor dark coaster with a pre show before you board it? Since Zeppelin has a preshow, Another coaster with a preshow would start to give the park more of a Disney/Universal/IOA feeling.
Well...this is basically the concept but the theming can be changed...im gonna work on another design for the park. Of course it will be family oriented!
That looks really nice, I to wonder how many G'S but also it needs 'theming',I wonder if it would have onboard audio and what artist would it be doing it? I take it this is just an idea and not an actaul planned project for later but it would be Great.
